Soil polluted diagnosis
RVX carries out environmental diagnosis of industrial plants and also studies concerning the interpretation of natural state.
These studies generally take part of an administrative procedure as well as carrying out of an Impact Study on Environment EIE or during conformation to file ISO 14 000 standards.
Diagnosis and studies are carried out with current tools. They constitute a necessary base in all fitting out or the project may cause an environmental risk.
They can be used to establish a state of site or an environment balance of an industrial plant in activity.
More specifically, RVX provides in expertise in terms of polluted sites and soils refining soil pollution level studies taking part in administrative procedures (case of Classified Installation for Environment Protection ICPE), from a voluntary approach of the client or for the sale / purchase of land.
REGLEMENTARY TOOLS OF POLLUTED SITE MANAGEMENT
Since 2003 and the "Bachelot" law concerning the prevention of technological and natural risks and to damage repairing, national politics of polluted site management has been reworked. Previous management tools, dated from 1999, have been modified or even deleted (case of Risks Simplified Evaluation).
New tools have been set up since 2007 to understand more of the problem of polluted sites and soil management :
THE STEP OF I.E.M. (ENVIRONMENTAL)
It allows us to address the state of repair of the state of repair of the environment used and their quality level. This step is put in place up to understand the impact acceptable without the site being classified for service functions.
THE MANAGMENT PLAN
This tool is used when the situation enables us to act on the state of the sites (with structures or depolluted works) and/or on chosen or adapted usages.
It is widely used in the following cases :
- Projected change of polluted site use (Classified Installation for Environment Protection ICPE or not). Ex : Construction of a residential district on a previous wasteland.
- Suspension of Classified Installation for Environment Protection activity under the relevant authorisation and putting in order the site for a comparable usage or not to the one of the last activity period. Ex : Suspension activity of an incineration firm of household waste.
RVX carries out pollution diagnosis in application with new tools adapted to different cases encountered.
- Sampling of river water during 24 hours
- Analyses of soil with Fluorescence X
- Soil sampling at 5 meters depth
- Soil sampling with auger
