History

May 1993: Creation of RVX - Recyclage Valorisation eXpertise (Recycling Recovery eXpertise).

1993: Development of a recovery process for steel-works dusts by basic hydrometallurgy. Two international patents registered. RVX has an exclusive exploitation license for applications beyond steel-works for this technology.

1993: Agreement of Ministry of Research under the tax credit for research. This agreement was renew.

1994: Laboratory development of a cementation reactor activated by ultrasounds "ACTIPLUS". One French patented registered.

1995: Development of recovery process for printed circuit trimming. For continuing experiments, one European patent was registered in 2003 by Airbus France and RVX.

1996: Setting up of two partnerships of specific application development for REZEDA process:

• Treatment of used batteries within European project LIFE. The pilot phase was finished and the industrial exploitation was launched by VALDI.

• The project Treatment of Rejets d'Ateliers of Traitement de Surface "TRATS". The pilot phase has allowed checking the technical feasibility of the process and a European patent was registered.

1996: 1st special award of Electrical Engineering within 2nd national competition of CORTECHS conventions for a project of batteries recycling.

1997: Development of a process of Treatment of Residues of Waste Incineration Fumes Purification "TREFID" with goal to decontaminate and to inert REFIOM (Residues of Household Refuse Incineration Fumes Purification) and REFIDI (Residues of Industrial Waste Incineration Fumes Purification). One patent was registered in collaboration.

1997: ANVAR (National Agency for Development of Research) has delivered to RVX the SRC (Research Structure under Contract) agreement. This agreement was renew.

1998: Development of sewage control analyses for local authorities and extern companies. This recognition opened the market of obligatory control analyses of sewage treatment plant. This activity has increased and was the subject of a subsidiary in 2004: LAEPS.

1999: RVX has obtained the agreement of Ministry of Environment.

1999-2000: pursuit of process industrialization project and in particular, set up of an industrial unit project of mud treatment for zinc electrolytic recovery: TREZ.

2000: Development of solid/liquid washing pilot "C6".

2001: creation of operating company for TREZ process.

2001: accreditation of COFRAC (French comity of accreditation) for physical-chemical analyses programs of water (100.1) and mud and sediments (156).

2002-04: proposition of ways of recycling for difficult waste like resurfacing mud, acid solutions of catalyst, hydrocarbon mud of metallurgy.

2004: creation of LAEPS – Laboratory of Environmental Analyses of Savoie Country. LAEPS keeps accreditation of COFRAC and agreement of Ministry of Environment.

2004: SAGACE process – Hydrothermal process applied to REFIOM (Residues of Household Refuse Incineration Fumes Purification). Two patents registered.

2007: adhesion to Axelera Cluster (chemistry and environment) in Lyon (France).

2007: accreditation of COFRAC for LAEPS for microbiological analyses of water.

2007: TREZ subsidiary has received Pierre POTIER "Innovation in chemistry for the benefit of environment" award.in the entrepreneurship category.

2008: RVX has received the Eco-innovations Rhône-Alpes Trophy.

2009: Installation in new building in Bonneville (74130) in France.

2010: Assembly of electrolysis pilot in RVX technical hall.
